Designated truck routes

Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway:
IRVING AVENUE (leads to pipe storage yards/Kinder Morgan terminal): Take the Lamar University exit, head north (toward downtown). Turn right onto Irving Avenue, turn right on Madison Avenue and turn left on Carroll Street. Turn left on Buford Street and right onto Sabine Pass Avenue. (Printable map)

FRANKLIN STREET: Continue north along MLK, turn right at Franklin and continue to the port entrance.

Eleventh Street:
Heading southbound, take the 11th Street exit and continue south. Either merge onto Interstate 10 east or continue south and turn left on either Calder Avenue or College Street. Turn right onto MLK Parkway, left at Franklin and continue to the port entrance. (Printable map)

Interstate 10:
Heading southbound, take the Lake Charles (left) exit onto IH-10. Exit right onto MLK Parkway. Go several blocks and turn left on Franklin. Follow Franklin to the port entrance.

College Street (U.S. 90):
Take Exit 851, turn east onto College (toward downtown). Make a right at Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway then an immediate left onto Franklin Street. Continue ahead to the port's entrance.

Calder Avenue:
EASTBOUND: Take Exit 852b to the IH-10 feeder road, turn right on Calder Avenue. Follow Calder to MLK Parkway, turn right. Turn left at Franklin Street and follow the street to the port's entrance. (Printable map)

WESTBOUND: Take Exit 852b, keep straight toward the IH-10 feeder road and continue three blocks to Calder. Turn left. Follow Calder to MLK. Turn right, then take first left to Franklin. (Printable map)

Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway:
Take Exit 854, turn south (toward downtown). Continue ahead several blocks and turn left on Franklin. Continue to port's entrance. (Printable map)

As Beaumont's downtown re-development plans take root, city leaders have limited trucks carrying goods to and from the Port of Beaumont to several main routes. Failure to follow these routes could result in traffic fines for truck drivers.
