Dr. David Willard is a Morehouse College and Harvard educated, award-winning educator, author, and community servant. In his nearly 30-year career in education, he has worked in some of the nation’s finest schools and currently is Middle School Dean of Students at All Saints Episcopal School in Beaumont. He also serves on the CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System Regional Board and the CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Advisory Board, among others.

David has firm roots in Beaumont running five generations deep. As a community leader, he follows in the footsteps of family members including educators, business owners, his mother, longtime educator and civic advocate Pat Willard, and his father, crusading civil rights and criminal defense attorney Elmo R. Willard, III. Willard was elected Commissioner At-Large in May 2019.
